How do I book Hype Sounds for my wedding?
Fill out our Inquiry Form, and we’ll send you a custom quote within 24 hours. Once you approve, a deposit secures your date.

How much do your DJ services cost?
Pricing depends on your wedding location, guest count, and package selection. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your needs.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit to lock in your date. The remaining balance is due one week before the event.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, bank transfers, and Zelle. You would be able to pay via credit card through the invoice we send you or via Bank/Zelle info.

Music & Customization

Can we choose our own songs?
Yes! You can provide a must-play list, a do-not-play list, and a vibe reference. Our DJs will mix it seamlessly.

Do you take song requests from guests?
If you allow it, yes! But we always respect your do-not-play list and your wedding vibe.

Can you mix different genres and cultures?
Absolutely! We specialize in Punjabi, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Spanish, English, Top 40, EDM, Arabic and more.

Can you create a performance mix?
Yes, we can create custom mixes for any of your dance performances.

Equipment & Setup

Do you provide speakers, microphones, and lighting?
Yes! All of our packages include premium sound, wireless mics, and club-style lighting.

How long does setup and breakdown take?
It usually takes 2 hours for setup and 1 hour for breakdown. We arrive early to ensure a smooth experience.

Do you need power or any special setup at the venue?
Yes, we need standard power outlets (110V). If it's an outdoor event, let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Are your sparklers safe?
Yes, the sparklers we use are Cold Sparklers and perfectly safe. No risk of heat or fire

What fog machine do you use?
We use Chauvet Nimbus Dry Ice Fog Machine. The fog is created using dry ice and stays low to the ground. No risk of any smoke alarms going off. It is water based.

MC & Event Flow

Do you provide an MC for announcements?
Yes! Our DJs are professional MCs who keep the energy up and ensure smooth transitions throughout your event.

Can you make announcements in multiple languages?
Yes! We can MC in English, Punjabi, Hindi.

Event Day & Logistics

What happens if my DJ gets sick or there’s an emergency?
We have a backup DJ ready to step in. You will never be left without a DJ on your big day.

Do you travel for weddings outside of LA?
Yes! We serve all of Southern California and travel nationwide for destination weddings as well as International weddings.

What if my venue has a noise restriction or sound limit?
No worries! We can adjust the sound levels and work with the venue to ensure compliance.
